Company Commercial
The Company and Commercial Department concentrates on giving pragmatic, practical and competitively priced legal advice to medium sized businesses and institutional clients.
The department advises on all legal aspects of company and commercial dealings including business acquisitions and sales, shareholders agreements , business contracts and finance transactions amongst other things.
Employment
The Employment Department advises on all aspects of the employment relationship, including the rights, obligations and remedies available to both employers and employees. Our services include the preparation of, and advice on, employment contracts, individual policies and staff handbooks. Family friendly matters including maternity, paternity and parental leave, flexible working and rights during pregnancy. We also advise on all aspects of discrimination - including sex, race, disability, age, religion and belief, sexual orientation, harassment and victimisation. Together with unfair and constructive dismissal cases.
Family Law
Our Family department can help with a variety of difficulties, whether financial or child related for both married and unmarried couples. We can draw up cohabitation agreements and separartion agreements, divorce cases and child issues. We also offer the relatively new approach of collaborative law which allows couples to reach amicable solutions by working together to meet the needs of both parties and any children without the intervention of the Court.

This includes the production of Home Information Packs (HIPs) which are now compulsory for all residential property sales. Our friendly team are knowledgeable and reliable and keep clients up to date with regular reporting.

The Wills, Trusts and Probate Department is dedicated to advising and assisting individuals to arrange their affairs so as to provide them and their families with peace of mind. We can draw up Wills, Living Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. We can also advise on tax issues to help you avoid liabilities and possibly make savings. Additionally we can also assist in all aspects of administering Wills and Estates.
